           TV sets have progressed from monochrome to Colour. Different types of Colour TV monitors are CRT (Cathode Ray Tube), plasma, TFT LCD (thin film transistor Liquid crystal display and LED (Light Emitting Diodes)

    5. State any four applications supported by modern mobile phones and tablet PC's.
        Camera, media players, FM radio, web browsing, Wi-Fi, and games.

    6. What is a touchscreen?
        A touch screen is an electronic visual display that can detect the presence and location of a touch         within the display area. The term generally refers to touching the display of the devices and display     of the device with a finger or hand.

    8. State the advantages of CDMA technology.
    • CDMA is the newest and allows for the highest capacity and highest mobile data throughput.
    • CDMA provides many times the channel capacity of TDMA. 
    • CDMA also claim that there are fewer dropped calls when crossing cell boundaries.
    9. Write the uses of Internet. 

    • to send and recieve mails.
    • to search and read millions of files stored in computers throughout the world.
    • to communicate live with others connected to the internet.
    • to advertise the products of the company.
    • shopping online.
